Troubleshooting Common Errors


When attempting to start the server you see the following error:

Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.
: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets available, shutting down
Solution:
You already have a program on your machine using port 80. You can either shut that program down or change the port WANdisco Subversion runs on by editing .\Apache2\conf\httpd.conf at the: "Listen 80" option.
